At Qooley, our mission is to improve the way people experience the world. Our goal is to facilitate a connection between curious travelers and passionate locals.

We have two mobile app platforms; (1) Qooley – a platform where travelers can browse and book activities/experiences offered by locals, and (2) QooleyBiz – a platform where locals can create such activities/experiences.

Job Summary: We are seeking an energetic, passionate and creative individual to join our team. Apply for a chance to work with a promising tech startup in the travel space. In this position, you will help us with social media marketing and content creation (Instagram). You will be responsible for maintaining our social media pages (mainly Facebook & Instagram). We are a travel app, so we need to create motivating, engaging, and unique social media content, that grabs people's attention and is personable to them, and also creates an emotional appeal for traveling.


Goals:

- Increase organic followers with a target goal of 500-1000 users per month.

- Inspire followers to sign up for our mobile apps through the website.


Time Commitment: 15-20 hours per week

Location: Chicago (preferred) or remote

Requirements

  • Create content for social media pages (e.g. videos/promos, photography, stock travel activity and scenery videos, memes, travel motivation blogs/videos etc.).
  • Make at least 5 postings per week, and maintain constant community engagement.
  • Maintain consistent engagement with the travel community on social media platforms as a representative of Qooley.
  • Monitor post analytics. Utilize analytics to improve postings and increase social media following.
  • Organize a social media campaign in collaboration with our marketing team to promote our company’s brand.
  • Monitor social channels and respond to feedback, questions, and concerns.

  • Preferred Qualifications:


  • 2 + years’ experience in Graphics Designing, Copywriting, Adobe Photoshop and similar software, Photography, Video Editing and experience with marketing analytics tools.
  • Education – must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program or have experience in either marketing or any other related field. A working experience of the equivalent is also acceptable for the position.
  • Experience with tools used for analytics (e.g. Hootsuite).
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
