Responsibilities

You do not believe in the status quo and have mastered the art of software sales. You are a hunter, highly motivated and ambitious. You should be accomplished in achieving growth with minimal resources. This is a very challenging role with high rewards. You are expected to start delivering right away. You will:
• Uncover new business opportunities and build a lead generation engine.
• Target and engage with prospects through cold-calling, mass email campaigns and social channels.
• Facilitate successful customer meetings and demonstrate our software.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to help penetrate target markets.
• Represent Binfer at networking, trade shows and marketing events.
• Maintain sales quota.
• Negotiate contract terms with clients.
• Manage and maintain our CRM system.
• Become a subject matter expert on our products and secure file sharing industry.



Requirements

• Ability to work in a startup culture (multi task, wear multiple hats, learn new things fast, adapt to changes quickly and measure everything).
• Must have B.A. or B.S. undergraduate degree.
• Must have 2 years of software sales experience.
• Natural born sales hunter, with excellent prospecting and qualification skills to identify new opportunities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent presentation skills. Must be able to create powerful sales presentations using Power Point.
• Must have actively used a CRM system.
• Must be expert running email campaigns and mastery over at least one popular tool.
• Must be tech savvy and quickly learn to operate open source as well as commercial systems to achieve business objectives.
• Motivated self-starter - positive, high-energy, driven individual with a proven ability to move things forward efficiently and effectively with minimal direction.
• Believer of customer development and lean startup principles.
• Able to identify opportunities for improvement and act on them.
• Must be local to Chicago area.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.
